Baking delicious treats is one of my favorite pastimes but when you live with your partner who is very allergic to A1 and A2 beta casein, proteins found in cow’s milk, baking can be difficult. You can’t use butter; you can’t use milk; you can’t use cream; and you can’t use cheese.
The recipes on this site are mostly going to be recipes that do not use cow’s milk. They won’t be vegetarian or vegan. They will still include gluten and they will frequently use dairy substitutes for cow’s milk, including sheep’s and goats milk, along with the more traditional substitutes such as, soy milk, coconut milk, and almond milk.
